I dodged it for 2 1/2 years, but last week covid finally caught up with me. It’s been a mild case all told, but I lost a week to feeling feverish, fatigued, and foggy. My wife got it too, but happily she is on the mend as well. Fortunately, it looks like we’re going to be able to get away this Friday, as planned, on a little family getaway to the mountains of north-central Thailand.
But between illness, upcoming travel, and the holidays to follow, I’ve decided it’s time to press pause on this blog for the remainder of this month. I plan to relax, catch up on some reading (who am I kidding? I’ll never catch up), and enjoy Christmas in the tropics (we even managed to get an honest-to-goodness live tree this year, imported from Canada).
I wish all of you a happy, healthy holiday season, and I look forward to reconnecting in the new year.
The Permanent Problem on December Break
Good on you... Hope you continue feeling better, and have a Merry Christmas, and a Happy New Year's.
And a happy holiday season to you, too!
