I was hoping to stick with my weekly publishing schedule this month but life has interfered. This week I’m playing host to one of my sons and his girlfriend as they visit Thailand, and we have some plans for a brief getaway of our own later in the month. Accordingly, I’ve been knocked off my pace and it’s going to be too difficult to play catch-up. I should definitely be able to knock off at least one more essay this month, maybe a couple, before things calm down and I get back on a weekly schedule.
As a huge fan and devoted reader I think your latest newsletter might be among your best. I’ve long lamented the loss of the American pioneering spirit (and marvel often at the unbelievable sacrifices required to make the country we now take (too much) for granted) and so your observations were inspirational and thought provoking, both theoretically and practically.
